ENG : –New Jersey Motorsports Park is a road course « Motorsports Entertainment Complex » located in Millville, Cumberland County, New Jersey, United States. It has hosted races since opening in 2008 and currently boasts a schedule including MotoAmerica Pro Road Racing, 24 Hours of LeMons, American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association, SCCA events, SCCA Pro Racing’s F2000 Championship Series.
Construction of the road circuit began in the late 1950s and the first major race was held in 1961, the Player’s 200, a sports car race won by Stirling Moss.
The Formula 1 Canadian Automobile Grand Prix was held there in 1967, 1969, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1976 and 1977. In addition to Formula 1, Mosport has hosted many high-performance international events including USAC, World Sportscar Championship (WSC), popular CanAm Series (Canadian-American Challenge Cup), American Le Mans Series, Trans-Am Series and NASCAR Pinty’s Series which features one road race and one oval race. The popular Nascar Camping World Truck Series will make its first appearance in 2013.
In 2012, following a partnership agreement with Canadian Tire, the complex was renamed « Canadian Tire Motorsport Park ».
